Composition of NC rotary tables: 1. Includes mechanical parts such as the NC rotary table body, column, spindle, and feed mechanism. 2. When multiple feeds are linked, positioning, straight lines, plane curves, and space curves can be processed. 4. Control the indicators of auxiliary equipment and some necessary supporting components of the machine tool to ensure the operation of the NC machine tool, such as chip removal, lubrication, lighting, and monitoring. It includes hydraulic and pneumatic devices, chip removal devices, distribution boards, NC rotary tables and NC indexing heads, as well as tools and monitoring and testing devices. 5. Programming and other auxiliary equipment can be used for programming and storing components outside the machine.

Characteristics of NC rotary tables: 1. Provides suitable mold manufacturing and processing methods, and the processing objects are highly suitable for single-piece production molds and other products; 2. High processing accuracy and stable processing quality; 3. Multi-coordinate linkage can process parts with complex shapes; 4. Replacement of processed parts generally only requires changing the NC program; 5. High precision, good rigidity, optional high processing consumption; 6. High degree of automation, reducing labor intensity; 7. NC machine tools use digital information and standard codes to process and transmit information, using computer control methods, laying the foundation for the integration of computer-aided design, manufacturing, and management; 8. Higher quality requirements for operators and higher technical requirements for maintenance personnel; 9. High reliability.

However, due to the relatively low level of relevant technologies, the application needs of domestically produced NC rotary tables in China are mainly concentrated in the low-end field, while the consumption demand for products is met by the import market. High-precision NC rotary tables from Germany and Japan are exported in large quantities to the Chinese market, and the market competitiveness of Chinese local enterprises is not strong. With the increasingly fine division of labor and the increasing expansion of specialized collaborative production, the production and development capabilities of host factories are limited. Most machine tool factories no longer follow the traditional practice of self-development and self-production of functional components in past product development, but choose the path of professional factory supporting. The function of OEM parts is weakening, and it is very obvious that they are determined not to do the components and accessories that professional factories can do well. The NC rotary table forms a social supporting system, and the future trend of domestic substitution will become increasingly obvious. This is the inevitable result of the development of the market economy, and it is also the only way to improve product quality, shorten delivery time, reduce costs, and achieve large-scale production.
