Taboo 1: Pay attention to adjusting the rest position

When installing and using a cam splitter, adjusting the stationary position is a very crucial step. For engineers familiar with cam splitters, this is a very simple matter. For those encountering a cam splitter for the first time, please pay attention to adjusting the stationary position. The so-called stationary position refers to the roller bearing being kept in the straight position of the cam to achieve the self-locking function.

Taboo 2: Pay attention to replacing the exhaust screw

When the splitter is in normal use, internal friction will generate a large amount of heat and produce an outward expanding force. If the vent cap is not replaced to keep the internal and external air pressure consistent, the oil seal will be damaged, causing oil leakage. Remember: Replace the vent cap.

When Sakurada Xin, the cam splitter manufacturer, ships, the vent cap is usually tied to the side space of the splitter with wire. When the matching motor is delivered, the vent cap will be attached to the inside of the packaging box.

Taboo 3: Pay attention to changing the lubricating oil

Before installing and using the cam splitter, replace the oil plug with a vent cap to maintain internal and external ventilation. When adding oil to the camshaft for the first time, please pay attention to the oil filling position of the camshaft upon delivery. The oil in the cam splitter should be changed after 1000 hours of operation and then every 3000 hours after one oil change. Even if the cam splitter is used less frequently, the oil should be changed annually.

Do a good job of rust prevention for the splitter to extend the service life of the machine. As a manufacturer of splitters, we usually do surface rust prevention treatment before leaving the factory. There are several types of rust preventive oils, including solid rust preventive oil and liquid rust preventive oil. We use solid rust preventive oil, which can avoid dripping oil everywhere, has a brighter color, and has a more lasting effect. There are also connecting plates and sensing cams. Although they are all iron, they will turn black, but if they turn black badly, they are prone to rust. Therefore, finding a reliable manufacturer is very important.

The design of the splitter is divided into special types and general types. Special types are usually specially designed for specific target products, and most of the purposes are to improve reliability; reduce volume; reduce costs, etc. Because it is dedicated, some related mechanisms and components can be combined at the same time, so it is likely that it cannot be used in reverse. The general type fully considers different needs and tries to meet most needs. The design must allow for both positive and negative use. Of course, it is good if it is one-way, but generally speaking, there is no problem going forward and backward. If you choose related products from professional manufacturers, you can consult the manufacturer for confirmation. When the equipment is moved to another place and reinstalled, it is usually necessary to solve the damage caused by reverse rotation. Usually, if the splitter's drive motor is connected to it via a pulley, the belt can be removed, and then the motor can be turned on to see if the motor's rotation direction is correct. If there is no pulley, the motor can be removed, and the input shaft can be pulled with a tool to check the direction of the splitter, and then the rotation direction of the motor when powered on can be checked separately. If it meets the requirements, it can be reinstalled.
